How does RR's pricing work?
It's a flat $8.50 per claim, for every practice we work with. Not a percentage of what you collect, and it doesn't change as your volume grows. The only other cost is a one-time onboarding fee.
Is there a separate clearinghouse fee?
No. We submit through Stedi, and it's included in your $8.50 per-claim rate. Not a line item, not passed through, and not billed on top.
What's included in the flat rate?
Eligibility and benefit verification, claims coding review and submission, denial management and Level 1 appeals, payment posting and reconciliation, coding and documentation compliance guidance, monthly performance reporting, and support responding to payer ADRs. You are never billed twice for the same claim, and Level 2 appeals are not included.
What's the onboarding fee for, and why does it vary?
It covers setup work: primarily payer EDI enrollment (Medicare PTAN, commercial ERA/EFT, clearinghouse connections), which is tied to your billing location, not headcount. A new location means largely repeating that enrollment work; an additional provider at a location we've already enrolled is a much smaller addition.
Do you ever charge a percentage of collections?
No. RR is flat-rate only. A percentage fee ties our compensation to the value of your claims, which we don't think is the right incentive for a billing partner.
What if my practice has multiple locations?
The per-claim rate stays $8.50 everywhere. Onboarding scales with the number of locations, since each one needs its own payer enrollment and clearinghouse setup. Groups with 5 or more locations are quoted individually.
Is there a minimum monthly fee?
Yes, a $500/month minimum applies below roughly 60 claims a month. Above that, it's simply $8.50 per claim with no minimum to worry about.
